This was a very big patio cover, it span almost the whole width of the house. We first poured the concrete, (yes we do concrete!) a 12’x44′ concrete slab. We then installed a 10’6″ x 47′ aluminum patio cover in the flat pan style. After that we installed the 3 ceiling fans and hung a door. The customer was very happy with the patio cover.
This was a 6″ Insulated roof system we installed for a very nice customer in Alvin, TX. As you can see below his old roof was in terrible shape and leaking. He loved his sunroom and wanted to make it usable again. We tore off the old roof, installed the new roof and ran electrical for 2 lights. He is very happy with the results.
Here is the picture of the old roof we tore off:
This is the new roof. 6″ Insulated Roof System. Sorry for the blurry picture.
Here we are outside looking at the new roof. Our homeowner was very pleased.
We are often asked about putting composition shingles on the tops of our patio covers to meet HOA guidelines. It’s a little hard to tell in the images below but there are shingles on the roof. If you’ve been thinking about a patio cover but not sure about your HOA, adding the shingles will almost always get approval. Click here for a link to another post that shows from above more clearly what the shingles look like.

It was a real pleasure to work for Jesse at Baytown Scrap Metal in Baytown. They buy and sell scrap metal all day and needed a covered area to work on their equipment. We built this 25′ x 26′ freestanding cover for them. We also built a carport for him at his home. We will be blogging on that image soon.
Pictured below is an 11′ x 36′ Aluminum patio cover with three fan beams in the roof panels. It’s Ivory (hard to tell with the low quality image) with dark bronze trim. We got this job from a referral of another customer.
